“Cutting Edge Psychiatry in Practice” is a journal published by East London Foundation NHS Trust (ELFT). It is a purely educational journal. It is a unique not-for-profit initiative with the sole aim of providing up-to-date, evidence-based information on key psychiatric conditions, clearly presented, so as to be accessible to trainees, GPs, consultants and other professionals who provide mental health care. The papers in each focus issue are written by a mix of international leaders in the respective field and enthusiastic local practitioners. Five focus issues have been published so far, covering schizophrenia, ADHD, bipolar disorder, autism and depression. They have been well received and have attracted very favourable comment from national key opinion leaders (see website). The eating disorders focus issue is currently in preparation.
The aim is that each focus issue will cover both practical and leading-edge aspects.
All the past papers are available on the website, CEPiP.org, free of charge. Click on the image of the front cover of the respective focus issue to access all the titles and papers.
