About Us
Cutting Edge Psychiatry in Practice (CEPiP) is a purely educational, open access journal published in the United Kingdom by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). CEPiP is a unique not-for-profit initiative with the sole aim of providing up-to-date, evidence-based information on key psychiatric conditions, clearly presented, so as to be accessible to trainees, GPs, consultants and other professionals who provide mental health care, as well as to the general public. The aim is that each focus issue covers both practical and leading edge aspects.
The articles in each issue are written by a mixture of international leaders in the field and enthusiastic local practitioners. Since the launch of the journal in 2011, six focus issues have been published, covering topics including schizophrenia, ADHD, bipolar disorder, autism, depression and, most recently, eating disorders. The journal has been well received and has attracted very favourable comment from key national opinion leaders.
All articles are available to read and download free of charge on this website. Visit the archive page or click on the front cover images on the homepage to access the articles for the corresponding issue.
